Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 9600 South Gessner
July 11, 2016 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a female that occurred at 9600 South Gessner about 7:50 p.m. on Saturday (July 9).
The victim, Maria Guzman, of Houston, was pronounced dead at the scene.
HPD Homicide Division Senior Police Officer B. Nabors and Officer W. Gilbert reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting at the Braeburn Glen Park, at the above address, and found Ms. Guzman had suffered several gunshot wounds. Houston Fire Department paramedics responded to the scene and pronounced Guzman deceased. At this time, there are no known witnesses nor suspects.
