Suspect Arrested, Charged in Fatal Shooting at 11631 South Gessner
July 5, 2016 - Charges have been filed against a suspect arrested in the fatal shooting of a man at 11631 South Gessner about 2 p.m. on Saturday (July 2).
The suspect, Al Hogg (b/m, 18), is charged with manslaughter in the 248th State District Court. He is accused in the killing of Bryant Demont Cavanaugh, 18, of Houston, who died at the scene.

HPD Homicide Division Officers R. Klementich and C. Hogue reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting at the above address and found Mr. Cavanaugh with a gunshot wound. HFD paramedics responded to the scene and pronounced him deceased. Hogg was taken into custody at the scene, admitted to shooting Cavanaugh and was subsequently charged.
