Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 7303 Breen
July 29, 2016 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man that occurred at 7303 Breen about 3 p.m. on Thursday (July 28).
The victim, Pedro Josue Garcia, 34, of Houston, was transported to Memorial Hermann Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
HPD Homicide Division Officers T. Colbert and K. Mokwa reported:
Mr. Garcia was working as a security guard at a game room at the above address when an unknown suspect tried to enter through the front door. Garcia and the suspect exchanged gunfire and Garcia was struck several times. He was transported by HFD paramedics to the hospital. The suspect suffered a gunshot wound to the leg but managed to make his way to a waiting pickup truck driven by another suspect and both fled the scene.
The suspects are described only as two white or Hispanic males in a black Nissan Titan pickup truck.
