UPDATE: Suspect Arrested, Others Sought in Fatal Stabbing at 5300 Caversham
July 19, 2016 - Houston police homicide investigators have arrested one of three suspects wanted in the fatal stabbing of a man at 5300 Caversham about 11:40 p.m. on June 25.
The suspect, Jason Lee Vallier (b/m, 44), is charged with murder in the 174th State District Court. A photo of Vallier is not available for release at this time, pending further investigation.
The victim, Gregory Alan Williams, 54, was pronounced dead at the scene.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant M. Holbrook and Officer J. Roscoe reported:
A group of males was gathered in the parking lot of a convenience store at the above address when witnesses saw a man (Mr. Williams) stagger from the group and collapse in the street. Paramedics arrived and pronounced Williams dead at the scene. He had been stabbed multiple times.
Further investigation determined Vallier was one of three suspects involved in the incident. He was arrested last Friday (July 15) without incident.
