Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 9555 Crofton
July 15, 2016 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a woman that occurred at 9555 Crofton about 12:55 p.m. on Thursday (July 14).
The victim, Marissa De'Sha White, 27, was transported to Memorial Hermann Hospital where she was pronounced dead.
HPD Homicide Division Senior Police Officer L. Bailey and Officer J. Young reported:
Officers responded to a report of a shooting at the Crofton Place Apartments at the above address. Upon arrival, they found Ms. White lying on the sidewalk suffering from a gunshot wound. HFD paramedics responded and transported White to the hospital.
Witnesses stated three unknown male suspects were running through the parking lot with guns in their hands after being shot at in the direction of where White had been standing. One of the suspects discharged his weapon while running and struck White.
