Investigation into Fatal Crash at 200 Hamblen Road
July 15, 2016 - Houston police are investigating a fatal crash at 200 Hamblen Road about 6:20 p.m. on Thursday (July 14).
The male victim, 55, was transported to Kingwood Medical Center where he was pronounced dead. His identity and cause of death are pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant F. Briones and Officer A. Mares reported:
The victim was driving a black Chevrolet HHR westbound on Hamblen Road when he suffered an apparent medical episode, left the roadway, went into a ditch and struck a tree.
His cause of death is pending autopsy results.
The investigation is continuing.
