Surveillance Photos in Fatal Shooting at 10300 Shady Lane
January 30, 2016 - Houston police have released surveillance photos of two possible suspect vehicles wanted in connection with the fatal shooting of a man at 10300 Shady Lane about 1:50 a.m. today (January 30).
The victim, Misael Arrellanes, 39, of the above address, was pronounced dead at the scene.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant M. Holbrook and Officer K. McDonald reported:
Neighbors and relatives of Mr. Arrellanes reported hearing a gunshot in the late night/early morning hours. A neighbor looked outside and saw Arrellanes lying in the parking lot with a gunshot wound. HPD patrol officers and HFD paramedics responded to the scene where paramedics pronounced Arrellanes deceased.
Investigators would like to speak with the owners of two vehicles seen leaving and entering the apartment complex at the time of the shooting. One vehicle, described only as a Dodge Caravan, entered the complex parking lot as a light-colored Chevrolet HHR was leaving the location. Surveillance photos of the vehicles are attached to this news release.
