Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 9820 Gulf Freeway
January 27, 2016 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 9820 Gulf Freeway #D (South Interstate Highway 45) about 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday (Jan. 26).
The male victim, in his late 20s to early 30s, suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Officers C. Sharp and M. Arrington reported:
The victim drove the suspect to the second level of a parking garage at the above address. The suspect then shot the victim multiple times before fleeing the scene northbound on Airport Boulevard with a pistol in her hand.
The suspect is described only as a black female with long hair. Anyone with information on her identity or this case is urged to contact the HPD Homicide Division at 713-308-3600 or Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
