Surveillance Video in Fatal Shooting Investigation at 6200 Beverly Hill
January 17, 2016 - Houston police have released surveillance video of a suspect vehicle wanted in connection with the fatal shooting of a juvenile male at 6200 Beverly Hill about 4:30 p.m last Friday (Jan. 15).
The victim, Alvin Torres, 16, of Houston, was pronounced dead at an area hospital.
In the surveillance video, beginning at the :04 mark, Torres (wearing khaki pants and light colored shirt) is seen walking along the street. At the :15 mark, the suspect vehicle, described as a white extended-cab truck, is seen driving by Torres prior to the shooting. The license plate on the wanted truck starts with a "D" or an "O."

HPD Homicide Division Officers N. Sharp and C. Elder reported:
Mr. Torres was walking on Beverly Hill when a white extended-cab pickup truck drove by. Witnesses stated an unknown Hispanic male in the truck fired shots and struck Torres multiple times. The truck fled the scene. Paramedics transported Torres to Memorial Hermann Southwest Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
