Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 12345 Bellaire Boulevard
January 04, 2016 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 12345 Bellaire Boulevard about 8:50 p.m. last Friday (January 1).
The victim, Herman Ray Browning, Jr., 57, was pronounced dead at the scene.
HPD Homicide Division Officers M. Dykens and S. Glaze reported:
Two male suspects dressed in dark clothing, wearing ski masks and carrying handguns entered the Hong Giang Hue restaurant at the above address and robbed the business and customers at gunpoint. During the robbery, Mr. Browning confronted one of the suspects and was shot. Both suspects immediately fled the location. HFD paramedics responded to the scene and pronounced Browning deceased.
