Fatal Crash at 14200 West Lake Houston Parkway
January 04, 2016 - Houston police are investigating a fatal crash at 14200 West Lake Houston Parkway about noon on Saturday (January 2).
The male victim, 28, was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant L. Ross and Officer T. Fowls reported:
The victim was driving a Nissan 300Z westbound on West Lake Houston Parkway when, for unknown reason, he failed to stay in a single lane. The Nissan crossed the roadway, struck a curb on the south side of the road and then struck a tree in the median. The driver was killed on impact.
No other vehicles were involved in the accident.
