Investigation into Fatal Crash at 3800 Milam
January 04, 2016 - Houston police are investigating a fatal hit-and-run crash at 3800 Milam about 2:20 a.m. on Sunday (Jan. 3).
The identity of the male victim, 30, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant D. Arnold and Officer J. Hill reported:
The victim was a backseat passenger in a black BMW M3 as it traveled southbound on Milam, went up onto a curb and struck a concrete pillar. The driver and a front seat passenger fled on foot. Two rear seat male passengers were transported to area hospitals. One of the passengers was later pronounced dead at Ben Taub General Hospital.
Investigators are following up on information provided on the identity of the wanted driver. The investigation is continuing.
