Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 5800 Dashwood
February 22, 2016 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man and wounding of a woman at 5800 Dashwood about 9:30 p.m. on Saturday (February 20).
The male victim, Maykol Isaula-Garcia, 17, of Houston, was pronounced dead at the scene.
HPD Homicide Division Officers C. Elder and N. Sharp reported:
Mr. Isaula-Garcia and his girlfriend were walking westbound at the above address when a vehicle stopped next to him. The passenger side window rolled down and several shots were fired from inside the vehicle. Isaula-Garcia and his girlfriend were both struck by the gunfire. He died at the scene and the girlfriend was transported to Ben Taub General Hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
The wanted vehicle is described only as a gold Chevrolet or white Honda.
