Investigation into Shooting at 5122 Idaho
February 22, 2016 - Houston police are investigating the shooting of three males, one female and an infant at 5122 Idaho about 9 p.m. on Sunday (February 21).
The female and infant were transported to Memorial Hermann Hospital with non life-threatening gunshot wounds. The two males were transported to Ben Taub General Hospital and are expected to survive their injuries.
HPD Homicide Division Officers J. Saldana and R. Klementich reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting at the above address and found HFD paramedics treating two adult males for multiple gunshot wounds. Further investigation determined a female and a four-month-old infant had also suffered non-life threatening gunshot wounds and were transported to the hospital. A third male found outside an area residence claimed he was wounded in the gunfire and was transported to Memorial Hermann Hospital to be treated for non life-threatening injuries. The suspects are believed to be driving a dark colored vehicle of unknown make or model.
The suspects are described only as black males.
