Investigation into Fatal Crash at 5600 Airport
February 15, 2016 - Houston police are investigating a fatal crash at 5600 Airport about 9 p.m. last Friday (Feb. 12).
The male victim was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant P. Kopulos and Officer J. Crisler reported:
The victim was driving a gray Chevrolet Impala westbound at the above address when he failed to maintain a single lane and struck some trees. The vehicle then caught fire.
No other individuals nor vehicles were involved in this incident.
The investigation is continuing.
