Investigation into Fatal Crash at 8400 North Houston Rosslyn
February 3, 2016 - Houston police are investigating a fatal hit-and-run crash at 8400 North Houston Rosslyn about 11:20 p.m. on Tuesday (February 2).
The male victim, a pedestrian, 65, was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant J. Rossman and Officer A. Hart reported:
The victim, in a wheelchair, was traveling northbound in the 6400 block of Tall Willow and attempted to cross North Houston Rosslyn when he was struck by a dark-colored vehicle of unknown make or model. The driver did not stop and fled the scene.
