Investigation into Shooting at 12925 Northwest Freeway
February 2, 2016 - Houston police are investigating the shooting of a male at 12925 Northwest Freeway (U.S. Highway 290) about 11:40 p.m. on Monday (February 1).
The victim was transported to Memorial Hermann Hospital in critical condition. His identity is pending notification to family members.
HPD Homicide Division Senior Police Officers M. Coleman and T. Tyler reported:
The victim and a male suspect, known to each other, got into a disturbance in the parking lot of a motel at the above address. At some point, the victim was shot. The suspect was detained for questioning, however, no charges have been filed at this time. The investigation is continuing.
