Investigation into Woman Found Deceased Following Fire at 9415 Greenwillow
August 22, 2016 - Houston police are awaiting autopsy results in the death of a woman found following a fire at a residence at 9415 Greenwillow Street about 7:45 p.m. last Friday (August 19).
The identity of the victim, 81, is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Officers N. Sharp and D. Nabors reported:
The victim and her husband were inside of their residence at the above address when it caught on fire for unknown reasons. Paramedics pronounced the woman deceased at the scene. Her husband was transported to Memorial Hermann Hospital in an unknown condition.
Members of the Houston Fire Department Arson Division are investigating the cause of the fire.
