Fatal Crash at 2500 Kingwood Drive
August 22, 2016 - Houston police are investigating a fatal crash at 2500 Kingwood Drive about 12:20 a.m. on Saturday (August 20).
The identity of the deceased male victim, 29, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant I. Duplechain and Officer D. Robinson reported:
The victim was driving a white Toyota Corolla westbound on Kingwood Drive when the vehicle left the roadway, struck the curb and a fence. The car then went slightly airborne, struck a tree and a second fence leading into a resident's backyard. Paramedics pronounced the victim dead at the scene. No other vehicles or persons were involved in the crash.
