2nd Update: Third Suspect Charged in 2015 Shooting at 9801 Meadowglen Lane
August 12, 2016 - Charges have been filed against a third suspect in the fatal shooting of a man found at 9801 Meadowglen Lane about 12:30 a.m. on October 18, 2015.
The suspect, Tre'vaun Powers (b/m, 25), is charged with capital murder in the 183rd State District Court. He is currently incarcerated in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice on unrelated charges.
Two other suspects, Isaiah Williams (b/m, 21) and Taylor Janiece Davis (b/f, 22), are charged with capital murder for their roles in the robbery and killing of Brian Quintero Medrano, 23, of the above address. Williams is charged in the 232nd State District Court and Davis in the 183rd State District Court.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeants A. Turner, J. Parker and Senior Police Officer J. Nguyen reported:
Officers were dispatched to a shooting in-progress call at the Madison Park apartments at the above address and found Mr. Medrano lying in a grassy area near the apartment complex. He had suffered apparent gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Witnesses stated two unknown suspects were seen leaving the scene.
A preliminary investigation identified Williams and Davis as suspects in this case and both arrested on July 20 and July 21, respectively. Further investigation identified Powers as also being involved and he was subsequently charged.
