Update: One Suspect Charged, Another Sought in 2015 Murder Investigation
April 28, 2016 - Charges have been filed against a suspect in the fatal shooting of a man at 12500 North Freeway (North Interstate Highway 45) about 12:40 p.m. on Nov. 13, 2015.
The suspect, Kenneth W. Osgood (w/m, 44), is charged with capital murder in the 184th State District Court. He is accused in the killing of Michael Terrell Brown, 32, of the above address, who died at the scene. Another unidentified suspect, described only as a black male known only as "King," remains at large.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant M. L. Holbrook and Senior Police Officer P. Vela reported:
HPD patrol officers were dispatched to the above address and upon arrival found Mr. Brown lying deceased in the hallway in front of his hotel room.
Two possible suspects, described only as a white male and a black male, were seen entering and then leaving Brown's room. A white Chevrolet Tahoe was seen driving in the hotel parking lot near the time of the shooting and may belong to the suspects.
Further investigation and a Crime Stoppers tip identified Osgood as one of the suspects in this case. On Wednesday (April 27), investigators interviewed Osgood, currently in the Harris County jail on an unrelated charge, and he admitted to his role in Brown's death.
