2nd Update: Suspect Arrested, Charged in Woman's 2014 Death
April 26, 2016 - Charges have been filed against a suspect arrested in the death of a woman found at 5910 Wayland about 11 p.m. on July 22, 2014.
The suspect, Lucius Alexander Williams (b/m, 34), is charged with murder in the 230th State District Court. He is accused in the the killing of Lakeisha Perkins, 35, of Houston.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeants M. Brady and J. Burton reported:
HPD patrol officers discovered a deceased woman in an abandoned warehouse at the above address. Initial autopsy results from the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences revealed the victim (Ms. Perkins) had been sexually assaulted and died as a result of her injuries.
Further investigation and evidence from the scene identified Williams as the suspect in this case. On Monday (April 25), he was taken into custody and subsequently charged for his role in Perkins' death.
