Suspect Arrested, Charged in Fatal Shooting at 7100 Truloun
April 22, 2016 - Charges have been filed against a suspect arrested in the fatal shooting of a man that occurred at 7100 Truloun about 12:20 a.m. today.
The suspect, Hector Henriquez (H/m, 18) is charged with murder in the 174th State District Court. A photo of Henriquez is not available at this time pending further investigation.
The identity of the male victim is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant B. Chebret and Officer M. Arroyo reported:
Officers responded to a report of a shooting at the above address and found the victim lying in the street. He was transported to Southwest Memorial Hermann Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Witnesses reported the Henriquez had been involved in a domestic disturbance with his girlfriend. The victim, who did not know the suspect or the girlfriend, attempted to intervene in order to protect the female. The suspect then shot the victim and fled on foot.
A short time later the suspect was located and arrested without incident by HPD officers.
