Update: Suspect Arrested, Charged in Males' Deaths at 1100 Dennis
April 21, 2016 - Charges have been filed against a suspect arrested in the deaths of two males found at 1100 Dennis Street about 11:15 p.m. on April 10.
The suspect, Tariq Lackings (b/m, 23), is charged with capital murder in the 178th State District Court.
He is accused in the killing of Robert Issac, 34, who suffered gunshot and stab wounds, and Willie Sims, 33, who suffered stab wounds. Both were pronounced dead at the scene.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant R. Olive and Officer S. Sylvester reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting call at the above address. Upon arrival, they found Mr. Isaacs and Mr. Sims had suffered from multiple wounds. The unknown suspects fled the scene prior to officers arriving.
Further investigation identified Lackings as the suspect in this case. He was taken into custody on Wednesday (April 20) and subsequently charged.
