Investigation into Fatal Crash at 100 Cavalcade
September 28, 2015 - Houston police are investigating a fatal crash at 100 Cavalcade about 11:35 p.m. last Friday (Sept. 25).
The male victim, 62, was transported to Lyndon B. Johnson General Hospital where he was pronounced dead. His identity is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant T. Trometer and Officer T. White reported:
The victim was driving a gray Hyundai Tucson eastbound in the westbound lanes of the 100 block of Cavalcade when his vehicle struck a curb, a METRO bus sign, and then a light pole. At this time, investigators are awaiting autopsy results to determine if the victim suffered a medical episode prior to the crash.
No other vehicles or individuals were involved in this crash.
