Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 5300 Selinsky
September 28, 2015 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of one male and the wounding of another at 5300 Selinsky about 10:35 p.m. last Friday (September 25).
One victim was transported to Ben Taub General Hospital where he was pronounced dead. His identity is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences. The second male was taken to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
HPD Homicide Division Senior Police Officers M. Condon and B. Nabors reported:
Several males were walking in the 5300 block of Selinsky when a silver or gray four-door sedan, possibly a Chrysler 300, drove by. The sedan's passenger fired multiple shots into the group, killing the victim and wounding another male.
