Fatal Crash Investigation at 8900 Cullen
September 21, 2015 - Houston police are investigating a fatal crash at 8900 Cullen Boulevard about 12:50 p.m. on Sunday (Sept. 20).
The identity of the male victim, 24, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant P. Lee and Officer H. Nguyen reported:
Witnesses stated the victim was operating a black Triumph motorcycle at a high rate of speed and weaving in and out of traffic as he traveled northbound on Cullen. As the driver of a gray Ford Explorer traveling south on Cullen made a left turn on to Clover, the motorcyclist lost control and struck the Explorer. Paramedics pronounced the victim deceased at the scene. The driver of the Explorer was questioned and released.
The investigation is continuing.
