Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 10630 Beechnut
September 18, 2015 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man and the wounding of a woman at 10630 Beechnut about 9:15 p.m. on Thursday (September 17).
The victim, Kensley Provosty Paul, 26, of Houston, was pronounced dead at the scene. The female victim, 19, was transported to Memorial Hermann Southwest Hospital in an unknown condition.
HPD Homicide Division Senior Police Officer J. Villareal and Officer R. Lujan reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting call at an apartment at the above address. Officers arrived and found Mr. Paul and a woman had sustained gunshots wounds. The suspect fled the scene in Paul's white 2013 Ford Focus, with Texas license plates FTM 0876.
The suspect is described only as a black male in his early 20s, about 5 feet 11 inches tall, with short black hair and a slim build. He is known as "Chi" or "Chicago."
