Investigation into Fatal Crash at 15200 Westheimer Parkway
September 10, 2015 - Houston police are investigating a fatal crash at 15200 Westheimer Parkway about 1:55 p.m. on Wednesday (Sept. 9).
The male victim was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant F. Briones and Officer C. Tosso reported:
The victim was driving a green BMW eastbound in the 15200 block of Westheimer when he failed to maintain a single lane and crossed into a westbound lane of traffic. A black Infinity QX56, traveling westbound, then struck the BMW's passenger side.
The BMW's driver died at the scene. The Infinity's driver and two passengers were transported to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
There are no charges in this incident. The investigation is continuing.
