UPDATE: Surveillance Video in Fatal Shooting Investigation at 13355 Northborough Drive
September 3, 2015 - Houston police have released surveillance video of a suspect's vehicle wanted in the fatal shooting of one man and wounding of another at 13355 Northborough Drive about 1:40 a.m. on August 6.
The wanted vehicle was seen on surveillance video in the area and can be viewed on the HPD YouTube channel at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8oN-B2I1o7k
The vehicle is described as a newer model, four-door, light blue Chevrolet Silverado or GMC pickup truck with running boards, chrome wheels and paper plates. It has dark tinted windows, a third brake light above the rear window and a GPS antenna on the roof above the driver's side.
The deceased victim, Cornelius Williams, 34, of the above address, was transported to Ben Taub General Hospital where he later was pronounced dead. The other male, 34, of Houston, was transported to Memorial Hermann Northwest Hospital with a non-life-threatening gun shot wound to the arm.
HPD Homicide Division Senior Police Officers M. Condon, B. Nabors and Officers W. Huff and J. Nguyen reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting call at the above address and found Mr. Williams and another male had been shot. Both were then transported to the hospital.
Witnesses stated the two victims were among a group of males at the corner of Northborough and Rushcreek when someone in a passing truck fired several shots at the crowd.
The suspect is described only as a black male, 21 to 26 years of age, 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighing 130 to 160 pounds. He was last seen traveling southbound toward Meadowfern Drive.
