Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 500 Greens Road
October 23, 2015 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man found at 500 Greens Road about 12:45 a.m. today.
The victim, 35, was transported to Ben Taub General Hospital where he was pronounced dead. His identity is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant H. Garcia and Officer R. Nunez reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting at Thomas R. Wussow Park at the above address. Officers arrived and found the victim. Prior to his death, the victim told officers he was running away from two unknown males when he was shot.
At this time, there are no known witnesses nor suspects.
