Fatal Crash at 6000 East Orem
October 19, 2015 - Houston police are investigating a fatal crash at 6000 East Orem about 11 p.m. on Sunday (Oct. 18).
The identity of the male victim is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant A. Thomas and Officer M. Pritchard reported:
The victim was driving a gray Honda Civic at a high rate of speed eastbound on East Orem when the vehicle went over a dip in the roadway, causing the driver to lose control. The Honda went off the road and struck a tree. Paramedics pronounced the driver dead at the scene.
No other vehicles were involved in the crash.
