Suspect Arrested, Charged in Fatal Stabbing at 10181 Windmill Lakes
November 17, 2015 - Charges have been filed against a suspect arrested in the fatal stabbing of a child at 10181 Windmill Lakes #833 about 2 a.m. today (November 17).The suspect, Rochelle Brown (b/f, 28), is charged with capital murder in the 208th State District Court. She is accused in the death of her son, Levi Thornton-Smith, 2 months old.

HPD Homicide Division Officers D. Stark and G. Sullivan reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a stabbing call at the above address and found baby Levi deceased. Brown and another family member were present when officers arrived.
Further investigation identified Brown as the suspect in this case. She was taken to an area hospital for observation, released and then taken into custody.
At this time, there is no known motive for the incident.
