May 29, 2015 - Houston police are awaiting autopsy results in the death of a male found at 111 East Loop North (East Interstate Highway 610) about 7:45 p.m. on Thursday (May 28).  

The identity of the victim, believed to be an elderly male, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.  

HPD Homicide Division Officers T. Colbert and R. Klementich reported:  

Investigators responded to the above address regarding a body found in the Ship Channel near the docks. Houston Port Authority Fire and Rescue personnel recovered the deceased male from the water.  
The investigation is pending the victim's cause of death.
