May 22, 2015 - A suspect has been arrested and charged in the  fatal stabbing of a woman found at 13503 Northborough #506 about 2:10 p.m. on February 25.

The suspect, Marcus Murphy (b/m, 29), is charged with murder in the 230th State District Court.  A photo of Murphy is not available at this time. 

The victim, Ebony Harris, 28, of the above address, was pronounced dead at the scene.

HPD Homicide Division Officers R. Ridel and T. Colbert reported:

Officers responded to a person down call at the above address and found Ms. Harris deceased from multiple stab wounds.  An apartment maintenance worker found Harris deceased in her bedroom and called 9-1-1.  Witnesses reported last seeing Harris around 6 a.m. that day.

Further investigation identified Murphy as the suspect in this case and on Monday (May 18), he was arrested in Pensacola, Florida, for his role in the death of Harris.  The two were in a dating relationship.
