May 11, 2015 - Houston police are awaiting autopsy results in the death of a female found at 12211 Fondren about 10:30 p.m. on Saturday (May 9).

The woman's identity and cause of death are pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant M. A. Holbrook and Officer K. McDonald reported:

HPD homicide investigators were called to the above address after the female was found deceased.  When the investigators arrived, they found the deceased female in the kitchen of a small apartment.

The investigation is continuing.
