March 30, 2015 - Houston police are investigating a fatal traffic accident at 15700 Woodburne about 4:30 p.m. last Friday (March 27).

The identity of the female victim, 20, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant F. Briones and Officer C. Cisneros reported:

The victim was walking in a crosswalk on Woodburne at El Dorado when she was struck by a white Ford F-150 pickup truck leaving from a stop sign. Paramedics transported the victim to Clear Lake Regional Medical Center where she was pronounced dead.  The driver of the truck was questioned and determined not to be impaired.   

The investigation is continuing.
