March 16, 2014 - Houston police are investigating a fatal traffic accident at 4900 South Braeswood about 7:35 a.m. on Sunday (March 15).  

The male and female victims, both 30, were pronounced dead at the scene.  Their identities are pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.  

HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant G. Lopez and Officer L. Ho reported:  

The female victim was driving a red Ford Expedition westbound on South Braeswood when, for an unknown reason, she veered from her lane and struck a tree.  The female and her male passenger died at the scene.  

No other vehicles were involved in this accident.
