March 2, 2015 - Charges have been filed against a suspect arrested in the fatal shooting of three males at 5022 Mallow #3 about 6:50 p.m. on February 25.  

The suspect, Anthony Perkins (b/m, 28), is charged with capital murder in the 263rd State District Court.  He is
accused in the killing of Willie Watts, 63, Darryl O'Neal, 50, and Dale Jones, 49, all of Houston.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant M. A. Holbrook and Officer K. McDonald reported:  

Witnesses at the above address reported hearing multiple gunshots and then discovered one of the victims lying on the ground in the parking lot.  The other two males were found deceased inside apartment #3, where one of the victims reportedly lived.  

Further investigation identified Perkins as the suspect in this case.  Investigators determined Perkins was transported to an area hospital to be treated for a gunshot wound he suffered during the incident.  He was taken into custody after being released from the hospital.
