January 20, 2015 - Houston police are awaiting autopsy results in the death of a male found at 4400 Memorial Drive about noon on Sunday (Jan. 18).

The identity of the male, age unknown, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant A. Semmelrock and Officer M. Stahlin reported:

A group of people canoeing in Buffalo Bayou at the above address saw a possible body hung up on some debris in the bayou.  The group called 9-1-1 and paramedics pronounced the male deceased.
