February 12, 2015 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man found at 10402 Bretton about midnight today (February 12).

The victim, Kevin O'Neal Smith, 51, of Houston, was pronounced dead at the scene.

HPD Homicide Division Senior Police Officers S. Straughter and M. Coleman reported:

Just after midnight, the homeowner of the above address reported hearing a loud crash. She called police after observing an unknown pickup truck in her front yard.

Responding HPD patrol officers arrived and found the victim, Mr. Smith, dead inside in the pickup truck.
