February 9, 2015 - Houston police have learned the identity of a man fatally shot at 10215 Beechnut about 10:45 p.m. on January 23.

The victim, James Miller Rogers, 27, of Houston, was pronounced dead at the scene.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant W. Elsbury and Senior Police Officer R. Martinez reported:

Shortly before 11 p.m., witnesses reported hearing several gunshots. The victim, later identified as Mr. Rogers, was then found deceased in the parking lot of the Broadmoor Apartment complex at the above address.

At this time, there are no known witnesses nor suspects.
