Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 7942 Rockhill
December 16, 2015 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a male at 7942 Rockhill about 6:25 p.m. on Tuesday (December 15).
The victim was transported to Ben Taub General Hospital where he was pronounced dead. His identity is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Senior Police Officers B. Nabors and M. Condon reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting call at Dow Park at the above address. Officers arrived and determined a group of males got into a disturbance in the parking lot. At some point, one of the males produced a gun and started shooting at the victim. The victim ran from the parking lot and collapsed a short distance away. HFD paramedics responded to the scene and transported the victim to the hospital.
The suspect fled the scene prior to officers' arrival.
