Fatal Crash at 11500 Gulf Freeway
December 7, 2015 - Houston police are investigating a fatal crash at 11500 Gulf Freeway (South Interstate Highway 45) about 12:10 a.m. on Saturday (Dec. 5).
The identity of the male victim is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant A. Thomas and Officer R. Romo reported:
The victim was walking in a southbound lane of the Gulf Freeway at the above address when he was struck by a maroon Chevrolet Tahoe. Paramedics pronounced the male dead at the scene. The driver of the Tahoe showed no signs of impairment and was questioned and released with no charges filed at this time.
