Investigation into Fatal Crash at 1800 Allen Parkway
August 27, 2015 - Houston police are investigating a fatal crash at 1800 Allen Parkway about 11:30 p.m. on Wednesday (August 26).
The male victim, 35 to 40 years of age, was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant T. Trometer and Officer M. Tamez reported:
The victim was operating a silver BMW R1200 motorcycle at a high rate of speed westbound on Allen Parkway when it struck a curb. The victim was ejected from the motorcycle and died at the scene.
No other vehicles were involved in this accident.
