Investigation into Fatal Crash at 9000 South Loop East
August 3, 2015 - Houston police are investigating a fatal crash that occurred at 9000 South Loop East (South Interstate Highway 610 East) about 6:35 p.m. last Friday (July 31).
The male victm was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant P. Kung and Officer M. Mathews reported:
The victim was driving a white Toyota Tundra westbound on the South Loop East connector ramp when, for unknown reasons, he veered out of his lane. The Toyota then struck a concrete pillar and victim died at the scene.
