Update: Suspect Arrested, Charged in Man's Death at 9590 Minnesota
October 3, 2014 - Houston police have arrested a suspect charged in the death of a man found at 9590 Minnesota #3104 about 11:15 a.m. on September 24.
The suspect, Roy R. Peet (b/m, 46), is charged with murder in the 183rd State District Court. He is accused in the death of Larry Collier, 60, who was pronounced dead at the scene. A photo of Peet is attached to this news release.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant K. Tolls and Senior Police Officer T. Tyler reported:
The caretaker of Mr. Collier arrived at his apartment at the Sterling Court Apartment Homes at the above address after not being able to make contact with Collier by telephone. The caretaker entered and found him deceased.
Mr. Collier's vehicle, missing from the parking lot of the apartment complex, was recovered the previous evening (Tuesday) by HPD officers.
Further investigation led to the identification of Peet as the suspect in this case and, on Thursday (Oct. 2), he was charged wiith murder.
