November 12, 2014 - Houston police are investigating the assault of a male found at 880 West 34th about 12:10 a.m. today (November 12).  

The victim sustained an injury to his neck and was transported to Ben Taub General Hospital in stable condition.  

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant W. Elsbury and Senior Police Officer R. Martinez reported:  

HPD patrol officers responded to the above address and found a black male lying on the sidewalk.  HFD paramedics then transported him to the hospital.  

At this time, there are no known witnesses nor suspects.
