November 05, 2014 - Charges have been filed against two suspects arrested in the fatal shooting of one man and the wounding of another at 17133 Imperial Valley Drive about 11:50 p.m. on Oct. 29.

Suspect Darren Earl Henderson (b/m, 20) is charged with murder in the 174th State District Court.  His twin brother, suspect Derrick Charles Henderson (b/m, 20), is charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon in the 174th State District Court.

Photos of both suspects are not available at this time, pending further investigation.

The deceased victim, Wynoskie Carraway, 36, of Houston, was pronounced dead at the scene.  A second male victim, 39, was transported to an area hospital in stable condition.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant M. L. Holbrook, Senior Police Officer P. Vela and Officers D. Stark and M. Arroyo reported:

Officers responded to a shooting call at the above address and found Mr. Carraway deceased in the apartment complex parking lot.  He had been shot at least one time.  A second male was also found suffering from a gunshot wound.  Witnesses stated the incident began with an argument with an unknown suspect(s) and then escalated.

Further investigation led to the identification of both suspects in this case.  On Tuesday (Nov. 4), they were arrested without incident.
