May 30, 2014 - Houston police are investigating the fatal stabbing of a man at 4600 Brinkley about 10:25 p.m. on Thursday (May 29).  

The victim, James Patterson, 45, of Houston, was transported to Ben Taub General Hospital where he was pronounced dead.  

HPD Homicide Division Officers S. Overstreet and T. Colbert reported:  

According to witnesses, Mr. Patterson and a male suspect got into an argument.  At some point, the suspect pulled out a knife and stabbed Patterson.  He was then taken to the hospital.  The suspect fled the scene.
